"Size chart did not work for me. Now I own 6 pairs that are too big. I was trying to replace some lightweight socks, same brand, I bought years ago. They finally wore out. Quality is excellent. Unfortunately, they will end up being given away because the heel comes almost up to my ankle. I am a woman who wears size 8 shoes, should have sized down to small socks."

"These are superlative socks! Unfortunately I wanted to return them as I misunderstood from the site that they were more brown than navy. No return labels were offered so I tried to mail back on my own only to discover that the mailing charges to home base in Canada would cost more than the purchase price. Now I own two pair of brown socks (not my color.) I would only order through Amazon in the future."

"I have Dahlgren socks that are over 10 years old. Machine wash cold and hang to dry. They don't felt up or get tighter like those other brands. And they keep my feet nice and warm. A hike doesn't happen without these socks ony feet. Worth every penny."
