"I received one pair of the Legacy socks as a Christmas gift. I was so smitten I bought two more pair and a pair of Trailhead. I was on the verge of throwing away a barely worn pair of NB sneakers because they weren’t comfortable after wearing awhile. I put them on with the Legacy for a beach walk and the shoes felt so good. The socks are soft, supportive and just the right temperature. Not too hot, not too cold. The Trailhead is slightly thinner, but just as comfy."

Disappointed in purchase
"I used the socks one time with a pair of Xtratuf ankle deck boots. Not sure why, but the material on the soles of each sock wore quickly and formed fabric pills. I provided a picture for comparison to another trailhead sox that hasn't been worn. I have three other Dalgren hiking socks that are 10 years old. They are bomb proof and only recently worn through holes through the soles. Very minor fabric pills on those socks. I decided to replace them with new Dalgren socks. I'm not certain whether it's typical for a sock to form this amount of fabric pills on the first wearing. I'm disappointed at this point."
